Fauvist Painting - Illustrator

This is my Bruins fauvist painting! I made this art piece by using a variation of gradient and solid colors. The different sizes of the rectangles give this design character.

Initial Logos - Illustrator

For this assignment, I designed five initial logos. I love the outcome of these logos because they're all unique. This project was constructed by using freehand, rustic and modern fonts. Each design flows together which gives it a clean appearance.

Smart Car - Illustrator

The Smart Car project taught me the features of the pen tool. By using rounded corners, the project achieved an accurate shape instead of having sharp edges. The gradient tool gave the vehicle a realistic look, as if there was a glare from the sun.

Warhol Self Portrait - Illustrator

For this assignment, I created a Warhol self portrait. This project taught me how to trace images and alter colors to make a unique piece of art. I also learned about the various color types, such as complementary, analogous, monochromatic, and much more.

Fruit Bowl - Photoshop

The fruit bowl project was a very interesting task. Throughout designing this project, I learned how to use masks and alter images. By transforming photos, I was able to make fruits with faces.

Sea Serpent - Photoshop

This is Steve the sea serpent! I designed Steve by using an iguana head, ram horns and shark teeth. I used the clone tool to transfer his texture onto the neck and body. I positioned him to make it look like he was breaching the water and added a sailboat for more design elements.

World In Containers - Photoshop

Nursery Rhyme - Photoshop

For this assignment, I created a design based on the nursery rhyme, Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star. By using outer glow and color overlay, I was able to make a unique piece of art.

Surrealism - Photoshop

For this assignment, I created a surrealistic design that illustrates a shark breaching water and a melting scoreboard. This project taught me how to liquify objects to create an unrealistic piece of art.

Propaganda Poster - Photoshop

Poster - InDesign

For this assignment, I created a Bruins poster that portrays terms related to the team. The color scheme and arrangement of shapes give the design a modern appearance.

Mondrian Grid - After Effects

For this assignment, I created a Mondrian Grid in After Effects. This project taught me how to bring "life" to my designs by using motion. Overall, I am pleased with the outcome of this project.
